Whether you are a professional DJ looking for a set of top of the line, state of the art headphones, or an audiophile looking to recreate the closest thing that you can to those precious speakers (only so your partner or family can’t hear it!) your headphones should be chosen wisely. So many times over the years that I like many of you I’m sure have made an impulse buy only to later regret it.
Traditionally, the market for professional headphones has really only been limited to recording studios, production houses and the likes, but these days many more people are demanding headphones of this kind of quality.
There are various types of headphones that include open, on the ear headphones which produce an incredibly precise sound. Also closed, on the ear headphones which produce a well balanced sound image. Circumaural headphones are headphones that have pads that go around the ears and are usually very large and very comfortable. These are the type more commonly used in recording studios and are the best noise cancelling type headphones and offer clarity and comfort for hours of listening Earphones, or earbuds are headphones that sit inside the ear canal.
Whichever you choose make sure that it is something that will reproduce the sound the way that you want it to and is comfortable enough to wear for as long as you see yourself wearing them.
